An example of misleading labeling



This package of Swanson Natural Goodness Chicken broth claims "No MSG"





Upon closer inspection, "No MSG" has a dislcaimer - "except that which naturally occurs in autolyzed yeast extract".

The label fails to tell you, that frequently MSG is masked as other ingredients. In this case: Stock, broth, and Flavoring.

For someone with a sensitivity to MSG, this product could cause an adverse reaction such as one or more of those listed below:

Arrhythmia
Atrial fibrillation
Tachycardia
..Rapid heartbeat

Slow heartbeat

Extreme rise or drop
